In the Flow of Love, Cancer New Moon

This time of the Cancer New Moon and Eclipse Portal is tender yet intense. I don’t have a lot to say and the words that are surfacing are not flowing well because they are muddled by deep feelings and not quite rational or relevant. But that is part of this Cancer New Moon and Solar Eclipse! So, I’m going with it and wishing you ease in your life, too.

May we all be open to the deep healing potential of this time, which holds within it an opportunity for peace, forgiveness, compassion and ever greater love.

So, here, a contemplation and visualization that will only take a moment (perhaps the moment of the New Moon at 12:16pm PDT today, July 2):

Sit or stand. Imagine yourself as a vessel. Breathe deeply, feeling the tidal waves of your breath filling and emptying.

Place your hands in your lap or arms uplifted, palms lightly cupped and turned upward. Consider how water flows, filling all the empty, lonely, open spaces of your body, heart, mind, spirit, soul.

Now turn your hands downwards and/or bow forward. Consider how water flows, emptying all the spaces that were once filled…

Do this a few times, feeling the filling and emptying, the ebb and flow, the inhale and the exhale, the times when you are fulfilled and the times when you are longing to be filled, the times when you are overwhelmed and the times when you are waiting, wondering, watching for the next big beautiful awakening…

And remember: All is in the flow of Love. All is in the service of Love. All is in the name of Love.
