(inspired by Winter Solstice of 2017)
A poem to inspire you in this final exhale of the year as we move through the last New Moon and into the Winter Solstice:
“To Know the Dark” by Wendell Berry
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.
A cosmological note:
A portal is open now with the Moon and Sun conjunct the Galactic Center. The Galactic Center is the Cosmic Mother’s Womb - a potent place of gestation for all the Star seeds of our hopes, dreams and desires.
Travel by night to the dark womb. Dare to wish for something new. Dare to work for something novel. The Blessed Holy Mother will hold you in Her Womb as you bring forth your heart’s desire. She’s got you, so you can Dream big.
Blessed Solstice,
Jennifer
(The Winter Solstice this year is December 21 @ 8:27am Winter Solstice when the Sun enters Capricorn)
