Last fall during the Samhain season, I set the intention to TRUST in LOVE. Samhain corresponds with Halloween, and is a time when messages are more easily translated to/from Spirit. For those that live in rural environments closer to the land, it is also a time when the last seeds and fruits are harvested. So, this was my seed: TRUST in LOVE.
I had no idea what that would mean, yet I felt a huge surge of energy building and moving, as if Spirit was saying "YES, finally! Now we can create something truly beautiful and magical!"
Since then, structures of so-called "stability" have fallen away, and life is carrying me forward on a huge wave. When I try to control or manage the wave, I feel like I will drown in the overwhelming nature of this transformative energy. However, when I remind myself to trust, then I can ride with the changes.
The last couple years have been about things falling away - both peacefully and destructively. They haven't been so easy emotionally, mentally or psychically. I have seen jobs ending, people moving on, marriages nearly or fully falling apart, and other radical shifts. Do you know what I mean?
Reflect for a moment...Have you been in a place of transformation - inner and/or outer? Were you or are you scared nearly to death of what is happening? And the next moment, were you or are you thrilled about the possibilities that await?
Every day you have an opportunity to use the broken bits and pieces as building blocks for a new Way. You can live a new Dream. You can re-write your Legend. You can walk the Beauty Way.
In two weeks, at the Spring Equinox, my husband and I will be on the wide open road. We are bringing our two cats, Pixie and Dewdrop the Dragon, and embarking on an epic journey into the unknown in our new home: a 39-foot RV! We have a few plans and destinations, but mostly the way before us is open. We will be teaching workshops, retreats and pop-up classes wherever we land. Of course, I'll keep you updated.

One of the things I am most looking forward to is the Aloha Spirit Retreat I am guiding on the Big Island this June. There are still a few spaces for women who feel inspired to come on the journey of embodied awakening through yoga, meditation, ritual and magic!

She quit her job and sold everything she owned. She moved to Scotland to be with a man she had fallen in love with. She lived there for a year. 21 years later, they are still married and adventuring together.
How beautiful is that! We all have a story. Thank you for being a part of mine. May the journey I am taking be one that encourages you to dream big and to TRUST in the LOVE that supports you always in all ways.
